Green Roofs / Roof Gardens
Green Roofs or Roof Gardens have so many advantages, their use must be expected to increase over the coming years.
Advantages:
Green Roofs provide thermal insulation
Green Roofs provide noise insulation
Green Roofs provide wild life habitats
Green Roofs provide rain water detention
Green Roofs provide extra living space and open to the sun
There are two types of Green Roofs / Roof Gardens:
Intensive Green Roof / Roof Garden:- These offer as many possibilities as a garden on the ground. Plantings of small or medium shrubs, grassed areas and occasionally trees. The plants used make substantial demands on the layers and require regular watering. This type requires regular care.
